Due to unfortunate circumstances, such as Federal and State Funding cuts, Della Lamb Community Services has been forced to cut back on staff, which makes it impossible to accept any more large donations such as furniture, small and major appliances, etc. 

The Della Lamb Thrift Store has been closed, with rennovations made to house the Adult Education GED/ESL Program, which provides education to over 2,500 adults, with daytime classes held Monday - Friday, and nighttime classes held Monday - Thursday evening.

The decision to stop receiving & picking-up donations was a difficult one to make, however Della Lamb Community Services believes the time was right to move forward in providing Adult Education Services, which serves the clients with the tools to achieve a self-sustaining life. 

If you have a donation you would like to make, but do not have a source to call for pick-up, please feel free to call the office and ask for the Community Relations Director, who will be more than happy to provide a referral source.
