Della Lamb Receives NAEYC Early Education Program National Accreditation

In July 2006 Della Lamb Community Services received National Child Care Accreditation in the Early Child Care Education Program.  On a daily basis nearly 100 low-income children, ages 6-weeks to 5 years of age are enrolled, fed, nutured, educated, and loved in the Early Education Program.  The NAEYC Accreditation is a National Standard of Excellence in Service-Delivery for Child Care Programs! Only about 10% of the progrmas seeking accreditation are accepted each year!  Della Lamb is very proud of the Early Child Care Education Staff for receiving the accreditation!

 

Provided full breakfast, lunch, and snack daily; developmentally appropriate educational curriculum: Language/Math/Science/Art/Music/Core Knowledge Pre-K/peacemaking skills/social skills; field trips

Infant/Toddler Licensed Care (6 weeks to 24 months)

In 2007, 42 infants/toddlers were served daily, five days a week, from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. We provided daily nutrition, nurturing, and age-appropriate developmental stimulation.

Pre-School Aged Licensed Care (2-5 years)

In 2007, 56 pre-schoolers were served daily, five days a week; 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
