Services for Seniors

Our Golden Agers Senior Citizen Program is Wednesdays from 8:45 am-12:30 p.m. For information about our program, contact Khadra at 816-842-8040.

The following services are provided to Senior Citizens through the Golden Agers Senior Citizen Program:

  • 5-6 individuals participated in our Golden Agers Nutritional/Recreational Group at Mabee Center each Wednesday. They enjoyed lunch donated by church groups, games, etc.

  • As part of Operation Santa Claus, 15 seniors received Christmas luncheon, holiday cookies/breads, a visit with Santa, a filled Santa stockings, and a bag with multiple wrapped new gift items ($60 value)

  • 27 seniors per day x 2 trip/day x 5 days/week were transported to/from medical appointments and nutritional resources (grocery stores, senior nutrition sites, etc.)

  • 107 homebound seniors per day received meal delivery by Della Lamb through our Senior Citizen Home Bound Meal Delivery program.
