In-Kind Donations

Prepare the home of a refugee family:

Housing Items & Resource Drives

In addition to furnishing the home, there’s a list of essential items that are also required to be in the home before the family arrives. From cleaning supplies to kitchenware to bedding, all are important items that every home deserves.

Would your company, organization or church like to do a resource drive? Check out our list of must-haves and connect with our volunteer team at volunteer@dellalamb.org! They will answer questions, provide assets and work out logistics related to your drive!

Furniture Donations

Furnishing the homes of our arriving families takes a village. Check out our most needed items here!

If you’re looking to donate furniture, whether from your own home, thrifting or garage sales, we’d love to coordinate with you! Simply email questions and/or photos to housing@dellalamb.org

Amazon Wishlists

If you’d like to purchase items and have them sent directly to Della Lamb, just check out our Amazon Wishlists! You’ll find an ongoing list of items for both Refugee Services and our Early Education Program. If you buy something, please mark it as a “gift” and leave your information – that way we can thank you for your generosity!

Food Pantry

We’re always accepting donations to our food pantry, especially items that represent the diverse populations we serve. If you’d like to donate to our food pantry or organize a food drive, please contact our Social Services Coordinator, Khadra, at kaden@dellalamb.org.

“I had my son with me and it was such a great experience for him… it was a great exercise in looking at unit prices, generic brands, and balancing the amount we had to spend while reminding ourselves of the overall objective (to get them set up with basics in the house and enough food for a week, etc.). He asked me so many questions! He wanted to know if we would be able to meet them, what happens after they move in, do they speak English, how do they get jobs, and much more. He was very concerned about them! Very sweet.
The best part was when he said, ‘Next time we do this, we’ll…’ My heart!”
